I've been on DailyMugshot.com for almost a year now, and I have to say I'm pretty obsessive about taking and uploading a mugshot every single day at the exact same time. If you've never heard of DailyMugshot.com, it's a social networking site of sorts, or if you don't want to share, it's a personal documentation of your face as time slips by relentlessly dragging you closer and closer to looking like the old person you never thought you'd be.

With Daily Mugshot you take a headshot of yourself with your computer's camera once a day (ultimately, but it's actually pretty hard to never miss a day), and it uploads to your account. When you play your "Mugshow", you basically see a flip-book of the dozens or even hundreds of photos you have taken of your slowly withering face flash by. It's amazing how many times you can look like crap over the course of a year. If you are very consistent with the app and there is very little movement in the frame, the resulting "Mugshow" is very, very cool.

Taking your bookmarks on the go has become much easier with the release of Yummy, a de.licio.us client for the iPhone. Yummy allows you to access your saved bookmarks by date or tag, send them to instapaper, or broadcast them over your preferred Twitter client.

Del.icio.us is a pretty bare-bones site, graphically, taking a page from the Google playbook. Yummy adopts this design sensibility for its user interface. Nothing fancy here: it uses the standard iPhone interface to access your del.icio.us bookmarks. This streamlines the application, making it fast on the client side - which, at least initially, is desperately needed. Depending on the number of bookmarks you've stored in del.icio.us, the initial download can take a while. After the app has downloaded your del.icio.us information, it seems to store a copy locally, making access significantly faster.
