Somethings make me start laughing uncontrollably immediately. The stone faced stare my sister has given me across the dinner table since I was a kid, the way my daughter says "Not. Quite. It. Dad.", other people's misfortunes, etc. Bombs Away got me laughing like an idiot instantly.

Sea Snake from Cats Cradle Studios is a game that completely relies on the tilt feature of the iPhone, which makes it a really cool, physical game to play. It is a fresh take on old school snake games, where extending the length of the tail of the snake is the goal. As the tail gets longer and longer the game gets harder and harder. Simple concept, and a fun game that requires constant movement of the iPhone, which seems to be a trend that more and more indie developers are following.

To start off, I'm a sucker for any game that involves destruction, and T.A.N.K. offers up plenty of that. This game is a great example of a small development company (three guys) putting out a very professional, high-end game that is more characteristic of a product from a larger, established gaming development company. These guys practiced in the 3D realm with Christmas Tree 3D and Snowman 3D, and have put those skills to use in T.A.N.K. Arena Battle. How they got from cutesy holiday apps to smoke, flames and destruction is lost on me, but they did a great job of it.
