Please Sir, May I Have Some Video?
So now that the new iPhone has video recording capability why won't Apple offer it to owners of previous iPhone models? Back in the dark beginnings of the App Store there once lived a cool little video app. It worked pretty well, and captured video easily off of the plain old camera on the phone.
Then Apple yanked it from the App Store. Obviously they were working on their own, much higher quality video recording feature that they would share with all of us loyal iPhone users at an undisclosed time in the future.
Wrong. They upgraded the new iPhone's hardware and left everyone with a previous model and old contract S.O.O.L.
So why not allow a 3rd party video recording app now? One that will give a very basic functionality to 2G and 3G owners? It would be no skin off of Apple's back at all, in fact it would seem like a good move overall, keeping the consumer base happy. I'm just sayin'.....
