Cropulator from Digital Film Tools adds a basic crop tool to the iPhone camera bag of tricks. It is a basic tool that can come in handy when you need to make a quick on-iPhone adjustment to an image.

The crop works just like it would on a large scale photo editing application. The crop area is adjusted by dragging a crop box by any of the four corners. To retain aspect ratio keep the lock icon in the tool bar locked. Unlocked you can make the crop area any size. The image can be rotated by touching either the left or right rotate buttons, and the image can be straightened by dragging a line across the side of the image that you want to be horizontal or vertical. Touching save will save the cropped image to the Camera Roll in the phone app. The original image will remain unaffected.

Cropulator is fairly easy to use, it just takes a little fiddling with to get used to the tools, and it gets the job of image cropping and angle adjustment done. The interface is simple and straightforward and the control bar is easy to understand. The homepage icon is pretty cool too, it is the original crop tool icon. For the photo-buff iPhone user Cropulator is definitely worth having and at $0.99 you can't really go wrong.
