If you're a puzzle game fan and you've been feeling like the genre has been going a little stale, which it has IMO, then you're in luck. Wriggle is a tricky, completely original puzzle game that offers plenty of challenge for adults and kids alike.

Each level consists of a maze consisting of 30 boxes with one, two or three worms arranged in the free blocks, preventing each other from moving. By dragging the worms up, down or back and forth you free up spaces and try to move the worms towards the blue flag and clear the board. It seems simple enough, but as the levels progress the open spaces become fewer and fewer and the worms block each other in increasingly frustrating ways. Playing Wriggle is akin to trying to un-cluster a parking lot that's been parked mish-mosh by malicious monkeys.

There are 40 levels arranged in increasing difficulty. What gives the game serious quality is that it counts numbers of moves at each level also. As the game gets harder it takes increasing numbers of attempts to clear the maze. It allows the player to come back to levels again and again until you solve the puzzle in the fewest moves as possible. The graphics are old school cool, don't let the kid-like look fool you, this game is hard for adults. The sound effects are perfect, they bring the movement of the worms to life. The game keeps rack of the numbers of attempts at each level so you can see how much work you need to do to master them.

Wriggle's innovativeness and originality are impressive, the game obviously comes from a quality developer with an eye for polished UI. Be bored with puzzles no longer, Wriggle can offer you lots of fun-time in a clean, simple package.
