Music Challenge from Redwind Software is the sister game to Movie Challenge. If you liked Movie Challenge you will love Music Challenge. Once again, a grown up game for people with a solid appreciation for, and knowledge of, the music world both cross genre and multi era. It even adds a level of difficulty by including your own iTunes library in the game play.

Using the same data base as Movie Challenge, The Inquisitor Game Engine, Music Challenge can come up with 3500 original questions, it will not repeat itself and get boring or predictable. On top of that, like the other app, you can submit your own questions and help the database grow. The games layout and premise are identical to Movie Challenge, three difficulty levels, three game modes, eleven Question Categories, fifteen game types, and eight Power-Ups. There is a detailed stat viewer so you can hone in on your strengths and weaknesses, and the game saves itself so that you can come back to an interrupted session. You can compare your scores locally or globally, and you can even become a "Trivia Master" by recording high scores across all of the games.

The goal is to score as many correct answers as possible in each category and draw a direct line through the icon grid from the top to the bottom. You have a couple of options each time you select a new genre and new challenges within that genre. Like Movie Challenge, I've been playing Music Challenge for a couple of weeks now and am impressed by the originality of the game play and the fact that it never, ever repeats itself.

Wether you play this game alone, in groups of two or four, the game is a blast. I am finding this to be an awesome mind exerciser. If you're more of an audiophile than a movie buff, you will able to challenge yourself more and play the higher difficulty levels. If you love music and trivia, Music Challenge is an absolute must have. If you liked Movie Challenge, you will love Music Challenge, another high quality premium game. This game offers way more than a trivia board game ever could, and for a fraction of the price at $1.99. This game won't disappoint.
