Who doesn't love Zombies? Slow moving, gullible, funny sounding, mostly walking around in clumsy, easy to slay packs. There are an infinite number of ways to kill them too, every new Zombie flick has some original moves, like my favorite, the record album thrown ninja-star-like to the forehead. The only problem is that when they start to really congregate they can easily cut off the escape route, surround you, mob you, drag you down and eat you in cold blood. Then you get to join their club.
Trapped is another high quality offering from the hit game makers Com2Us. It offers all you would ever want in a Zombie game, creepy story line, dark surroundings, cool music and of course, the standard arms dangling in front- foot shuffling hordes of Zombies.
The game takes place in a bio-research lab where the experiment you've been working on has gone horribly wrong. Everyone has become Zombiefied. This is a cool game on a lot of levels. You battle the Zombie freaks with an array of weapons, from rifles and handguns to blunt objects like pipes for that close in Zombie slaying thrill. No LP's to whiz though, maybe in an update or something. Solve numerous puzzles to move from chamber to chamber and get out of sticky situations. Unfortunately for you though you have forgotten who you are and how you got there. You need to unlock that secret too.
Trapped: Undead Infection delivers hours and hours of diverse gameplay, it is not just a simple minded shoot 'em up. There are a lot of tasks to master on a variety of levels. It took me a while to get good enough to write this review even. You have very little help in figuring the game out, trial and error are the key here. The layout of the lab is cool, dark and spooky, and the graphics, like with all Com2Us games, are very slick. The sound effects are dark and scary, they set a perfect tone for the game.
When I have time to actually sit down and play an involved game, Trapped: Undead Infection has become a go to. With the sheer amount of game play available, the difficulty of the game play and the intricacy of the story line, this app will live on your iPhone for months and months. A perfect example of a premium game and well worth the $1.99. Com2Us has scored another hit.
