Some iPhone apps are made specifically for a younger demographic. Farting, blasting, hacking and smashing are all things that the youth enjoy, and so do mature iPhone users to some extent, but eventually it gets old and you feel pretty stupid sitting in the airport surrounded by people reading novels and papers and working on laptops while you adjust the hang time and pitch of a cow fart. Movie Challenge is anything but immature.

Movie Challenge is a game for movie buffs out there who have a real sense of all things Hollywood, and people old enough to have seen lots of films. This is an in-depth movie quiz that challenges your knowledge of films from all genres and eras. Here are some of the features of the game, there are so many that it is easier to just spew them out: There are three game modes to choose from, Regular, Pass n' Play for multiple players, and Blindfold. Making things even more interesting you can select between easy, medium and hard play. There is also regional based Leaderboard. Ten different question categories, seven game types, eight power up options all make for diverse play and long term app enjoyment. Lots and lots of options in this game.

The graphics are crisp and bright and the sound effects are pretty cool too. You can look at great stats for your games and hone in on your strengths and weaknesses. Like all quality games it will save itself where you left off if you need to step away. A feature that I have been enjoying, and a brilliant move by the developer, is that you can submit your own questions to be used in the game. Using "The Inquizitor" Game Engine the game can come up with 5500 different questions at this writing. I've been playing for a couple of weeks now and I have not had one question in any genre or form repeat itself.

If you are looking for the next great addicting iPhone game that teases your brain and doesn't involve bodily functions, explosions or gallons of blood, Movie Challenge is it. This game will instantly put a smile on the face of any iPhone-toting movie buff out there. I'm loving it. The game is so in depth it assures a long life span on your home screen and hours and hours of entertainment. Movie Challenge is a premium app that is a bargain at $1.99.
